The National Society of Professional Surveyors Foundation (NSPS) announced the selection of 19 scholarship awardees from this year’s group of college student applicants enrolled in geospatial technology programs, leading to degrees in Geomatics, Geodesy, Surveying, Survey Engineering, or Land Surveying Mapping Science. We are proud to join with the National Society of Professional Surveyors in announcing that Jacob Larue is the 2018 recipient of the Schonstedt Scholarship in Surveying. Jacob is pursuing a Surveying & Mapping Degree with a Certificate in GIS at the University of Akron, where he also passed the FAA Certification Test in UAS (drones), allowing him to fly drones for commercial use in surveying and mapping. We are very pleased to announce the award of the 2017 Schonstedt Scholarship in Surveying to Joshua Koehler, of St. Cloud State University, MN. The $2,000 scholarship is administered by the National Society of Professional Surveyors in Frederick, MD as part of their annual $350,000 scholarship program. Way to go Josh!
